They've got some interesting lyrics too, each song is kind of different. Most songs are quite sad, but not all of them. They are really good at making a song sound like its come straight from a nightmare, its got that sinister darkness about it - the vocalist really has a flare for it. The band itself works really well together, its pretty much seamless. I really like how in the song "Frozen asleep in the park", they tell a sad story about a homeless woman and how her family leaves her to die in the park, disassociating themselves from her. Its just the way they do it. The "nightmare" type songs are "they feed on our fear" and "the raven of darkness". Pretty much every song has something about it which makes it special imo.
In the song "Conspiracy in mind" they sing about looking at reality with skeptism, and how risky it is. Then, on some songs they hint at beings who hide behind the curtain so to speak, and manipulate people and the world, but also how they're afraid to die in the light. Its hard to sum this band up, but one things for sure, they take a bit of listening to. The first time I heard a sample of their music I thought it was amazing, but when I got an album I wasn't too keen. After quite a few listens (over a period of about a year), I started to learn more about music in general, and to realise how difficult some of what they do must have been to pull off, and to come up with in the first place.
