Whoa!
First was Skyline, then Battle: Los Angeles. It seems that whole echelons of marines fighting aliens on the streets and in the air wasn't enough so we got Cowboys fighting Aliens now.

I'm curious from where all this Alien invasion scenario came from and could it mean something more then plain Hollywood blockbuster entertainment.
I guess we must just "wait and see". :cool2:

It wasn't available in this part of the World where I'm anchored. I thought it was too much coincidence with all this Alien invasion stuff.

Their is also 'Monsters' in which a nasa probe containing an alien life form crashes and it infests part of mexico.....reminds me of when we had all the 'asteroid' films come out at once back in the late 90's I think.

Not just that movies, recently in last year, two there were also movies like Race to Witch Mountain, there is an interesting part when main actor drives kids that are human aliens and when they tell hum that he says don't aliens look like little green men, so here is probably programming that there are aliens that look like humans, that is Orions STS. And in the beginning of the movie there are shown real videos of UFO sightings for couple of minutes. And then there was last Indiana Jones movie about Crystal skull where there are grays and there is in the end UFO that just disappears like in a real videos of UFO's.
 
There's a one comedy movie that is going to be released and there is a grey alien in it which is described as human and positive, so it looks like more preparing for what's to come!

And there is this one here: _http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1001526/ with similar connotation. Although I'm bad and look strange I'm infact good and caring being. Just like ordinary human.
