Okay. So I'm not sure how to explain what I had experienced last night but more or less I had a series of dreams. I can only recollect bits and pieces of them but what strikes me as being very odd is that I woke up a few times through the course of the night and each time I had tears in my eyes. The dreams I had were clearly emotional since I found tears in my eyes upon waking up each time. Finally when the morning came I woke up and felt exhausted and ended up falling back asleep for another 2 hours waking up at noon. Does anyone have any input into such a bizarre night and furthermore have you had such a night filled with emotion while dreaming and waking up with/in tears?

Yep, that's happened to me quite a few times over the years. I've woken myself up laughing once or twice too. Sounds like your subconscious is working through some emotions. :)

I wouldn't mind having a dream tonight that causes me to wake up from laughing. At least I would feel somewhat balanced. Thanks for your response and input!
