Crystal Ball

About a week ago I discovered a spherical crystal about the size of a grape which belong to my mother. Inside the crystal is various bubbles and some Chemicle substance in a shape of a curvy eye. The colors of this substance is dark orang and green with a little touch of blue in the middle. Well it has been some years so she is quit uncertain of its origin. So, I have done some experiments with it using the sun. I would place it directly in front of my right eye about two inches apart. I would position it where the substance lay and let the sun rays penetrate though it. Once the sun rays hits the crytal a spherical ball of light appears. And in it I can see what I assume is molecular and atomic detail of the chemical substance within the crystal and the crystal itself. Once I hold it there say 1 to 2 minutes I can percieve very faintly photons or electrons. The photons or electrons appear to me as a sphere within a circle. also I perceive dark circular formations that bond or grow in size, which I believe is atoms. I say this because the atoms seem to disappear once I blink or lose my focus. So, in other words the dark formations are seen only when viewed. Once I have release my view from the crystal, I then close my eyes and percieve a green formation which is only viewable on my right eye. the formation starts as a block of green luminancent light then makes it's way towards the middle and then becomes spherical. After about 3 seconds it disappears, I also notice that if I quickly and repeatedly blink my right eye focus on the wall the green formations shows there. Another bizare thing with this object is the formations that are on the green substance. It looks almost like heiroglyphs of some sort.

When sunlight passes through a crystal, a number of optical phenomena occur - like refraction, dispersion etc. White light can break up into constituent colors of the rainbow and depending on the structure and material of the ball one could preferentially see certain colors. It is not likely that you are actually seeing the atomic structure or electrons; photons are light so the fact that you can see anything indicates that photons are present. The human vision system is complex and it is possible that the information processing that takes place in the brain can infer subjective patterns in such a case. If you so wish, you can ask someone else to take a look at the ball and ask what he/she sees.

Psychics (and those who pretend to be psychics) c use crystal balls to "gaze into the future" (scrying) - but that is usually done in low light condition. Gazing at a crystal can help some people getting into a trance state and they have visions.

Holding a crystal ball in direct sunlight can generate heat - just like a magnifying glass can used to generate heat and burn paper. People have reported inadvertently starting fires by leaving crystals exposed to sunlight. Not sure what your purpose is in playing with the crystal - but please be careful.

When I place the crystal on a surface in the sun light it does reflect rainbow colors, particularly on the chemical substance. I will take your word for what was viewed I am not sure what I have seen only speculation on my part. If I did see photons my mind may have subjectively interpret it as something else. I will have someone else take a look at it maybe they can help determine its nature. Maybe I should seek someone who can also view it from a scientific perspective.

I have no significant purpose for studying the object. It fascinated yet shock me simply because of its origin and beauty. Study and experimentation is completely done with and I have put it away somewhere safe. I had a pretty disturbing reaction last night. While I was going to sleep I began to daze off in a semi-wake sleep state. As I dazed off something very swiftly struck my right eye I awoke with my head and upper back vibrating for about 2 seconds and felt mildly energized. I also experience pulsations on the right side of my chine, and slight pressure to the temples of my head. I was unable to sleep for about 30 to 40 minutes.

Interesting experience but I think I will stick with knowledge only.
