The majority of the time that I'm browsing this board, I'm using my Blackberry. It's convenient because I can read while I'm at work or out and about but it's also inconvenient because I don't have the 'Search' feature which I can access only when viewing the board on my computer. That being said, I have a feeling I may be doubling up on a topic here since I cannot search my keywords.
(Mods- Feel free to delete this thread if I'm repeating another)

It all started last summer when I was walking down the sidewalk with a friend and randomly saw a baseball sized rock in the middle of the beautiful green lawn of a public building. I thought this was a bit random so I picked it up and took it home with me. It's been sitting out on my window sill ever since. For some reason today I decided to do a little research. Turns out, I believe it to be a rough (unpolished) chevron amethyst. Several websites I visited promised esoteric and medicinal powers from this stone but I can't help but feel a bit skeptical.

What have the C's said about crystals, rocks, stones, gems, diamonds, and jewels?
Do any members here have any experience, whether good or bad, concerning these items?
The fact I came upon this rock in the first place seems a bit curious. Thoughts?

*Funny, as I was finishing typing this post, I got a STRONG sense of deja vu. Weird..
 
Off the top of my head, there is mention of crystals to collect power by the Atlanteans in the transcripts. They got power hungry with it though just like we are money hungry. And the stones like the megaliths were said to be used for techno-spiritual things.

The RA material mentions crystals quite frequently with more depth than the C's have gone into, the C's have verrified that the RA material was legitamet so have a crack and get reading.

I hope it helps, There are a few commin misconceptions regarding crystals too, such as charging your stone in the moon.

Please try not to ever place your stones in the moon light, the Sun light will charge them. If you read THIS session there is some more insight coming from the C's themselves.

Uh oh, my chevron amethyst has been sitting out on my window sill for almost 2 years. That's a lot of moonlight/sunlight. Hope that's ok :(

I'll do some digging...

:lol: I was excited too. :( are you able to give a rough explanaition about it at all? I wasn't aware of such good use after reading the full moons energy was bad (effectively not good) for our crystals.

No, and that discussion was actually not related to the effect moon light may not may not have on crystals.

Oh ok no problem, So we are all on the same page then when it comes to the moon light being BAD for crystals? Just so I'm not preaching false information to all my freinds? Because its a trap set up that i find most people (reiki teachers, Crystal practioners) all fall into I know a few witches (as they like to call themselfs) who do horrible things during the full moon.

I have no idea how some people can think that its energies can be used for anything other than STS.
 
A: Sort of. Crystals are a good choice. But they must be selected individually for each person by dowsing. Then a combination of sunlight, starlight and intent. No moonlight!

I am just wondering why no moonlight. I am sorry if it is explained in the other 2 links, being a new member I am blocked. Speaking on the physicality of rocks, I do understand that sunlight will drain the color out of some rocks and minerals. (Uruguayan Amethyst will turn into a lighter green color if given a few months time in direct sun, Brazilian Amethyst takes a little longer)

Applying the thinking that light waves are light waves, what would be the difference between sunlight and moonlight? Isn't moonlight just the reflection of the sun's light?

Are the C's speaking of intention combined with moonlight vs intent with sunlight and starlight?
