does anyone know of any long term benefit/detrement to damiana in food, tea or smoking?
checked the search, saw nothing... supposedly relaxant, aphrodisiac, hormone balancer

I can attest to the relaxant quality. I was really stressed one night, quite a while ago, and a friend had me drink a tea made with damiana, rosehips, chamomile, and peppermint. Knocked me out. I've had chamomile before, and it was beyond what that flower usually induces.

Haven't researched long term benefit/detriment before, however.
