Dark Side of the Moon

I've seen this movie. If you watch closely, especially the interviews with the major players, Kissinger, Rumsfield etc.,
you'll see in the editing that the questions they are answering could have been anything. The editing is very clever,
but this movie is satire or disinfo at best. Though, I know nothing in specific about the Kubrick narrative.

I don't find it to be proof of anything other than very clever editing. Do you think Kissinger et al would ever talk as openly about something so conspiratorial as the Moon landings being fake? Think about this for a moment.

Watch closely.

Now, I'm not saying that the Moon Landings were fake or real. Just that this film is not proof of
either.

Yeah, It feelt strange.
And they try to imply that the former (french speaking) CIA director was assassinated because of the film/docu.
To much unnatural feel about the conversation between the "major players", I have to agree with Joshua.
I mean why talk so openly about it and then still careing about it?
Non the less a good satire in my opinion!

Hi,

Yes, I can see what you both mean. I have to admit the first time I watched this doc- some bells were ringing in regards to the credibility because of the reasons you stated. That all these people including Donald Rumsfeld are actually admitting to this, which seems highly unlikely.

Although, what I do find interesting is that some of the things presented in the video were legit- and some things seemed very unusual and out of place. So is this an example of "damage control"?

I do agree with you that this video is not 'proof' and it is a lesson for me to not take things at face value. Although this is a lesson I thought I had already learned, it seems to me that I need more practice in spotting dis-info artists, and subtle things like this.

Thanks

and am in no way associated with it.

Editing is like electricity Nina. It's there but invisible and yet has a profound
effect on our perceptions of media. Great that you got this. It's fun to watch
the movie image with an active mindset and to start to discern subtext.

Warmly,
Joshua
