Hi, RevolutionaryJam, and welcome to the forum.

Would you share some of the thinking and ideas behind your video? It seems to subtley suggest a "You Create Your Own Reality" (YCYOR) take on things. There's lots of information on the forum about this which you'll find by using the search function at the top of the screen. Also, if you're interested in the topic of prayer, you might find this thread interesting, too. :)

Hey thanks for the linx, I do believe we create our reality to at least some extent

at the most basic level, a pro-war person sees 9-11 as a sign that "we have enemies" whereas a leftwinger sees it as "proof that American foreign policy has failed"

Beyond that there is the whole attraction element which I've seen at work
I feel that gratitude is and faith (in the sense that you believe in your determination, not religious faith) are key to attracting good things in your life
I've definately seen that principle at work

of course there are unknown factors that draw things into your life that are, on the surface at least, beyond your control imo

From my perspective, which could be mistaken, the above isn't so much 'creating your own reality' as it is 'creating your own delusion' - in other words, neither of these perspectives is actually 'Reality'.

Hi, RevolutionaryJam, I think you'll find these threads really informative (on the 'law of attraction') - :)

Yes but they will certainly be the reality that you experience.

I think you're using the word reality in a different way than I am using it, which is quite common - it's basically the referencing of two different dictionaries of meaning. The threads I linked should clear that up! :)
