Diamond/question-mark icons appear in provided link?

The Living Force
The link in question is: http://www.cassiopaea.org/cass/biblewho1.htm

It appears, at least with Firefox, I am seeing black diamond/? icons
interspersed throughout the pages. Perhaps it is just my particular
Firefox version, but does anyone else see it?

Just wondering,
Dan

That's the older one. The new one is here: http://cassiopaea.org/2011/02/22/the-ark-of-the-covenant-and-the-temple-of-solomon/

At work (IE) I'm unable to see any text, except the sidebar for the Cass Site pages.

Huh, that's strange. I don't have IE so I can't check to see if I can replicate it. Using FF 3.6.16 all appears normal. Same with Safari.

I checked:

1) The new link works on FF/Fedora 13
2) As reported by Jerry, I confirm the same problem on Windows 2000, IE-6x.

Can you check other articles on the new Cass site to see if the same problem occurs? Not too much, just a few clicks. Chosen randomly:

I have window XP and IE7 at the office.

I see the left sidebar and an empty page. However, if I scroll down I see the main text and the right side bar.

It is like there is not enough space to put all the info in just one screen page.

I had trouble loading one article about gold in California (_http://www.sott.net/articles/show/227777-California-Huge-Gold-Nugget-Ignites-Gold-Rush-) - (all that showed was a Google video loading diamond), but the next day it worked fine.

In future, if you come across this black-diamond problem on Firefox, Dan, all you need to do is to change the character encoding for the page.

To do this, click on the View drop-down menu, then Character Encoding, then select "Western (ISO-8859-1)". That seems to correct things for me, at any rate.

Ok, I was using Unicode UTF-8, which is the
newer emerging standards, or so I think.

Thanks for the tip!
