Got me thinking about MIR. She was in orbit for ten years, and I can't find any mention of similar problems with debris.
I found this article, http://www.russianspaceweb.com/mir_close_calls.html, which lists all the major mishaps with MIR; the problems are all either human errors or technological malfunction.
There are mentions of micrometeors elsewhere on the web; either the possibility of them and damage prevention, or findings of dents probably caused by them. But again, there don't seem to ever have been times when MIR was in danger of space debris, man made or other.
