Doctor found something odd on my chest X-ray

Divide by Zero

The Living Force
Hi,
I recently had a physical. BP was good 110/70 (before I smoked it was usually borderline-go figure?), resting heart rate 79, blood oxygen 99%, EKG perfect, lung capacity 100% (spirometry test).

But the doctor called back about the chest X-Ray. He said it is likely nothing, but recommended taking a CT scan.
He said that where the blood vessels come into the lungs are enlarged, and it could be related to lymph nodes?
I mentioned that I am doing a breathing program to him and he wasn't sure if that would cause this.

I should get the x rays on tuesday. I wonder if it would be possible to scan them using a scanner to show before I go to the allopathic doctors who will most likely order a CT scan. I would assume that CT scans are to be avoided due to the huge radiation dose?

Who knows, maybe it is showing that EE is increasing blood flow to the lungs, seeing my oxygen level.

Edit: added name of lung capacity test and concern about ct scan

Well that would be good news then...yes?

Either way I look forward to hearing good news Divide By Zero. Take care, try not to worry about it. :)

Divide By Zero let us know what comes out.
I hope it is something good :)

Divide by Zero - if you're not having any physical problems and the rest of your results look that good, I would advise against a CT scan. No need to expose yourself to that amount of radiation to satisfy a doctor's curiosity. I'm not a doctor, of course, but it could just be a heredity anomaly or something. fwiw.

How is your diet, DbZ? Are you eating enough meat protein and fats, and staying away from the toxic foods?

agree with anart here, exposing to more radiation in a world that's already drowning in them ain't never a good thing.

Yep, my gut feeling is that because I put down myself as an occasional smoker, the doctor's thoughts were "colored" that there might be something wrong, despite him not being sure. He was saying that it was no rush to get it checked out too.

I've been eating more fats and protein and have noticed positive results. I've stayed away from gluten for at least a year. I also try to take at least 5g vitamin C a day along with the magnesium, fish oil, and multivitamin.
The only thing that I occasionally go through is constipation and I sometimes have hemorrhoids (since 2 years ago I fell on my tailbone on the stairs and bruised it badly).

If I can scan the X ray, maybe Psyche can take a look and see if this is really pronounced or something within "limits of error".
