I just saw this documentary (in German) from 1999 and highly recommend it:

Hadzabe - Die letzten Wildbeuter Ostafrikas
_http://vimeo.com/58452890

It shows the beauty of the life of one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes in East Africa, and also the misery caused by enforced agriculture and enforced schooling (from development "aid", missionaries etc.). It is beautiful and sad at the same time and made me quite angry. And I think it shows really well how poisenous our so-called civilisation is in its very core.

Thanks for sharing. It is was indeed a very interesting documentary and sad too what happened to the tribe and even imagining if the tribe still exists today. At least to wiki after a documentary of BBC and another tv channel in 2001 the tribe became a tourist attraction. What I found interesting, that everyone within the tribe had the same rights and no hierarchy at all.

luc, thank you for that sad and in the same time interesting documentary.
