DOD certificates

I found a crapload of DOD Certificates in my computer

I called Apple and my ISP and they don't know anything.
Checked google and got deep in some gov sites..

They do this………

Perhaps installing a firewall such as Zone Alarm might help prevent things being copied to your computer without your permission.

Also you might want to set your system to reject cookies unless you okay them.

DOD Certificates

Sorry, in case I missed it or have just plain forgotten (which does happen), what are DOD certificates, and how do they pertain to computers?

Digital signing key certificates are simply a crypto key that allows
for secure digital data connections over the wire for whatever
application you wish to use, the most common being your web
browser. I assume the DOD certificates are no different, however
may have different signing key mechanism than that of normal users,
perhaps, but I am not really sure.

How it got onto "the late snow"'s computer; either it was installed
by default by the OS installation and/or computer's vendor or a web
site was visited uploading the DOD's cert keys. You can remove these
keys from your OS and how to do this, depends on the OS as there are many.
