The Living Force
When I read some of the things that Laura has done with respect to
hypnotherapy, I often asked myself how this can be possible with
people who have certain impediments that might allow only a one-way
path for which trance-state recovery is not possible?
It is my understanding that hypnosis, hypnotherapy, or similar means
uses the hearing senses in order to be brought under a trance?
If you were say, deaf or hearing-impaired, perhaps hypnosis is possible
only through the eyes/lip-reading, perhaps with the aid of a hearing device,
but then how is it possible to bring the patient out of hypnosis, if the patient
were unable to 'see' and/or 'hear' the countdown?
I shudder to imagine of such a situation for which a patient, once brought
under hypnosis, due to some impediment, can never be brought out of hypnosis.
Has this ever been reported in case journals?
