Today I observed a doggie reaction to dehydrated sweet potato (yam).
The dog loved it! This would make a good obedience trainer.
You will need to acquire a dehydrating machine.
I'm guessing that humans could use this kind of food as well.

Hi,
My Shadan is very much food driven, and she loves to learn. I am training her to be my service dog and what she loves are the freeze dried liver treats. Make sure it comes from a good source. Dogs do love sweet potato but that is a Carbohydrate. You don't want to load them up with that, it aught to be an occasional snack. Anyway that's what I have learned. :) Tarri

Probably better to give your dog dried meat products as treats. Doggies should absolutely be on a "keto" diet, mostly protein. As for humans, sugars, even in complex carbs, provide food for all sorts of nasty organisms in doggies that cause all manner of health issues. Imagine your dog is a wolf and imagine what a wolf would have access to eat, or want to eat in the wild.

Yeah, here's a link that has a list of things you can give as a treat to a raw fed puppy during training.
