This documentary I watched today on college, professor first put some song by some Israeli artist that was transvestite, then he showed this documentary, I had prejudices before it because I thought what this topic has to do with this class that was called philosophy of education(and I'am not really interested in this stuff about sex change, etc, it's repulsive to me to talk about it) and some where also laughing before it, but the question was does the nurture or nature has upper hand for one changing their gender, but the C's said it has to do with influence of mother or father in the children childhood, and Ra said it has to do with past lives. But this isn't the point I wanted to share this it's the story which is incredible and sad, tragic. In the end I had some tears in my eyes. It's about boy who was on circumcision but something went wrong and he lost his penis. His parents were shocked and didn't know what to do but they saw one doctor on TV that was specialist for changing gender and they went to him. He said that they should keep the truth from David(boy) and they make him look like girl and they called him Brenda. This doctor was In John Hopkins hospital and was one of their best if not the best doctor, he had theory that children can be through nurture raised to be girls or boys. He had talks with Brenda/David and his parents didn't know what was happening there. From beginning it was all going good for Dr.Money(very symbolic surname) when he asked Brian(David brother) and David/Brenda. But with time David began to play with toys and doctor was insisting that he accepts that he is a girl, and started mentioning that he should go to operation and get vagina, but he didn't want that. Once he even did act which was pedophile act and he forced Brian and David to put their pants down and he took photos to "show" them what's the difference between boys and girls. Reason why he insisted was that he wanted to make his theory look right but it didn't go how he aspect-ed. One more case that science isn't about science and truth. this photos were later hidden and investigators couldn't get them, and Dr. Money said that it was all lies(typical scenario). then one day David had enough and said that he would kill himself if he went again to him. Then parents decided to tell him the truth which they should have done in a first place but were probably worried how the truth would impact him. After that David decided that he wants to be a boy and started having normal life. when he was in school, he was alone and was bullied because he wasn't with girls but couldn't be with boys because everyone thought he was a girl. He did plastic surgery to get his gender and he found wife. But his brother Brian was changed after finding the truth and wasn't anymore close with David, he got schizophrenia and he did suicide. After that David took his shotgun one day and did it also. Very tragic story, and Money left unpunished because john Hopkins is very influential and probably had big backers behind I guess after finding this on wikipedia:

Professor said that one investigator found that similar case happened to two other children, I think boy and girl, and I think that boy lost his penis, and he was also under "guidance" of Dr. Money that did all of this for money. Maybe he was psychopath, he showed some serious pathological traits. They even wanted to make a movie about it but eventually it wasn't made.

I agree with the analysis that Dr Money was most likely a psychopath. It is written all over his look, his talk and his behavior.

I heard the whole story on the BBC while driving the other day, it was shocking, not sure if I would want to watch the documentary - just listening to the story was very painful
