dream about EE WHILE AWAKE!

Last night a very strange thing happened. I had a particularly stressful night at work. I was working with one employee whom everyone thinks is a psychopath and is always causing trouble for other employees. I admit that I got really angry, lost my cool and shouted at him. On the way home I kept getting images in my head of committing extreme violence against this person and the images were very graphic yet seemed alien to me as if they were hovering near my head instead of being my own thoughts and I was not feeling angry or in any way inclined to act on the thoughts. When I got home, I immediately did some breathing and started to read forum posts. I was very tired but kept reading because there was a lot I wanted to cover. While reading a post and being absolutely wide awake, I also started to dream. It was really weird. I was reading and understanding what I read and dreaming at the same time. I dreamed I was sitting in the lotus postilion and starting the EE program and was very relaxed and suddenly a small black bat started hovering over my head and I knew it's intention was to get inside my crown chakra. My cat was sitting next to me (in the "dream") and she was calm but sitting in a protective watchful position, looking a lot like those statues of lions that are sometimes found at the entrances of ancient buildings. She jumped up and snatched the bat out of the air before it could touch me. During this whole bizarre incident, I never stopped reading the posts. I wondered if this was my HS telling me I am protected while doing EE.

Maybe the EE allowed you a glimpse into a reality where your cat has been helping protect you from flyers?

I've had similar experiences in the past when what I think where past life memories surfaced....its pretty weird feeling like your in two places at once!

Interpreting it as a dream I can see a few possible ways of reading it....see which ones ring true to you.

The cat and the bat...
The cat could be your instinctual side, protecting you from predators. Part of you that could see the predator while the rest of you couldn't (you had you eyes closed?)

Sitting in the lotus position doing E-E..
Could mean that you need to do that more (as its protective). Also if you have your eyes closed, it may be a sign that you are escaping into something instead of paying attention to nearby danger? You should be able to stop a bat easily. I find myself uncertain if the 'cat' should be trusted. (could the cat and bat be more of the negative images you where having?)

It could also be showing you how to stop a repeat of what happened in the day. The bat being from/to do with the employee you worked with.

All in all, I think the message I see is: do E-E more, especially in situations where working with this employee. If you had your eyes closed in the dream, you need to open them and be aware of the danger around you. Perhaps listen to your instincts (the cat?) when it comes to this danger.

Maybe the EE allowed you a glimpse into a reality where your cat has been helping protect you from flyers?

Sounds interesting, something to think about. My cat has been extremely loving and staying inside with me a lot more lately even though she usually spends most of her summer nights outside..

I had my eyes closed in the "dream" but the awake me was watching the dream also, kind of like reading and watching television at the same time.

I'm not sure about this one, the bat could definitely be the negative images. I am not afraid of bats but this one was a particularly sickly looking and deformed with a bad vibe to it. Since this was my beloved 8 year old cat/friend who has risked her life for me, I think the cat suggested that I was being watched and protected by someone or something that I am not aware of or am underestimating.

Based on my little experience, It is important to recognise the fact that there will be extra ordinary realised/unrealised stress involved dealing with psychopath. EE will surely help, but the stress could be ongoing. So watchfulness is extremely important. Read the Snakes in Suits and strategise how you are going to handle. reremind your self about the strategy.
