Dream about Iodine

I thought that i would be interesting to share this dream from few nights ago about Iodine. Its first time ever i dream something like that.

This is what i remember.
I was in some kind of school for some kind of tests. I remember that somebody was telling me not to register with my real surname for that tests. I went there and a young woman asked me for my name and surname.I told my real name and my fake surname. IF i have told my real surname i know that i would not be aloud to take those tests. It all white and foggy. The woman put a tiny white pill in my mouth. I suspected that its something bad and instead of swallowing it i hide it under my tongue. The woman went in front of me and she was leading me somewhere. While she was turned with her back i took the pill from my mouth and hide it in my pocket.
Everything was still very bright and foggy. She acted very friendly and relaxed and she told me that one her friend was addicted to those pills. She loved them very much.
I asked her what those pills are , and she answered me that the pills are Potassium Iodide and that she loved them too.
I was very surprised , i almost panicked and i searched for the pill in my pocket , i found it and i put it in my mouth. In the dream i know that it was very important and very good for me to took that pill. Immediately i feel very calm and i woke up.

Well , maybe there is some truth in that. The dream was Saturday night.Sunday morning i went hiking high in the mounteins . It was a very sunny and covered with snow and high altitude.. A lot of UV radiation and when i came back home i had a very bad sinburns on my face. I have a hat and sunglasses for protection but all exposed parts are very bad burned. Some yellow sticky liquid is draining from some parts on the burned skin on the nose. Probably a lymph. I `m using some home made St John's wort oil on the skin and it helps a little.

It never happened to me before. at this time of the year, and never so severe. It can also indicate some atmosphere changes.

I guess i dont understand the dream message. Now, i guess i did , but as always, too late.

FWIW, i find Lavender oil very good for heat burns and sunburn - in fact its the first thing i go to for both and i've had excellent results. The history is that It was initially discovered by a chemist (i think) to help with burns caused by heat.

The Lowdown on Lavender Oil

Lavender essential oil has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, making it well-suited for natural skin-care use. Unlike many similar essential oils and plant extracts, it's safe to apply directly to small areas of the skin without diluting it with water. For a skin-calming compress, add a few drops of lavender oil to a cold, damp washcloth. This suggests that the regular use of lavender oil in skin preparations could suppress the aging effects of sunlight on the skin. Linalool, one of the major constituents of lavender oil, has shown very good in vitro activity against human basal cell carcinoma (Cherng et al 2007) and a topically applied 10% dilution of linalool reduced skin tumor incidence in mice by 33% (Gould et al 1987).

So today we can say that the principal known benefits of using lavender oil on the skin are that of numbing pain and healing wounds (cuts, sores, abrasions, ulcers), and other probable benefits include preventing bacterial colonization, treating fungal infections, combating blemishes, preventing skin cancer, and countering the damaging effects of UV radiation (photo-ageing).

Personally i apply it direct, as the article states it is safe. But if you have any concerns, you could mix it with Aloe Vera or another carrier oil (hemp, almond, olive).

Just a thought based on the elements of the dream, that perhaps it has something to do with trust or honesty. That perhaps you don't trust either yourself or others, and that's why you need a fake surname, or hide the pill and then suddenly take it. Fogginess also speaks about inner confusion. fwiw.

I remember that when I started the gluten free diet I have read a lot articles about the evil gluten was, its effects and all that. I had sometimes nightmares and weird dreams about eating gluten by accident. But In retrospect I think is just too much saturation of the mind about that issue. I have seen that you are very active in the iodine thread. Is it maybe something the like?

First I've got bad sunburns which are now OK, then next day some major failure happened in the electrical instalatin in the apartment and some appliances were literally burned by high voltage, and I have to pay contractors to fix the problem. 2 days we were without power. A lot of attacks, if I can call them like that those last days. So, maybe iodine was like a symbol that means something. Maybe I need to use it again in order to help my body and mind to deal easily with life challenges.

With this stuff, it's probably best to be cautious, do your research and not assume anything. Business as usual? And if this is not the case, then why not?

As i posted to the iodine thread, this week i started to use iodine again but only topical, a heel dosing and i have reaction even to that. So yes as you said maybe i need to be cautious and do a little experiment and research with iodine dosages. Maybe the dream is telling me that its more safe for me to use KI instead of Lugol.

Another interesting dream about iodine. The last few days i feel very sick ( i looks like a flu) and last night, after a whole day hard work i finally was able to sleep. I have a very vivid dream about iodine. Here is how it was.

An unknown dark place. I noticed one old small dog house in very poor condition. In front of the house a small dark brown puppy and its not looking very good.
Then my 9 year old son shows up with my bottle with iodine.He takes iodine in the dropper and drops the iodine drops in front of the puppy in the dirt.When the puppy saw that it start to eat the dirt with iodine drops like crazy. I was shocked . I took the iodine bottle from my son and i told him that we must give more iodine to the puppy if we want it to be better. So next to its house i found a big dirty white bow with a clean water. The water was very clean.So i put a few drops of iodine in the water and it started to change color and become more brown-yellow from iodine. I feeled some king of joy and satisfaction that we have done something good for this little puppy.
