Dream of new teeth

Yesterday I took a nap after a round of pipe breathing and had a dream I thought was worth sharing. In the dream I was talking to some people (they were just presences, not anyone I recognized) and suddenly I felt a piece of tooth in my mouth that had broken away. I felt inside my mouth with my fingers and pulled it out, then started wriggling my tongue around and suddenly my mouth was full of broken teeth! In the dream I had a sense of fear and confusion and ran to a table that was setup nearby, and I started to spit out the pieces of teeth into my hands and put them on a plate on the table, thinking that I needed to save them. The pieces were covered with brownish yellow tar, which is odd because I take very good care of my teeth. After a bit I took a sip of water from a glass on the table and swished out the last bits of broken teeth, and when I felt around with my tongue and fingers in my mouth, I found that my mouth was full of brand new teeth!

Upon awaking I thought of the Cass transmissions, and growing new teeth. I also thought about clearing out emotional baggage (dirty teeth) and the fear and pain it can cause (I was afraid when they started falling out).

Just thought I'd share, thanks for reading. If anyone has any thoughts or insights, I would welcome them as always.

Cool dream, sounds very "positive" to me. "Teeth" have been a symbol of lessons and growth in my dreams as well, throughout my life actually. In difficult learning periods, I have dreams of my teeth becoming soft and falling out; then once those lessons are integrated I have dreams about nice new shiny white teeth growing in.

:D

I had also many years back a dream of about loosing my teeth, but it's too lang ago to say if I have been a teenager or have been already an adolescent when I had the dream.
But I found it very disturbing when I had the dream (that's the reason why I'm remembering the dream), maybe because of social programming, when you have lost your teeth you are poor or something like this.

I think this is a very good sign, because first we have to get rid of the old stuff, before new things can grow! ;)

I used to have many dreams of my teeth falling or breaking into little pieces in my mouth.
They stopped many years before.
One meaning I've read for such dream is that you may lack energy or that your overall dynamism is pretty low (depression) but in this case it seems like it's about renewed energy osit ;)

In our culture (Persian) the loss of teeth or a tooth means that you will lose one of your family members or close to that. But yours sounds quite differently as you grew new teeth, I also think that's a good message. Perhaps something is changing in or maybe outside you and being ''renewed''? :)

Thanks for all of the ideas and feedback. The dreamer's dictionary that I have laying around my house (good for a laugh usually) suggests that losing your teeth in a dream indicates a reversal in financial circumstances, but I am inclined to agree with all of you! Even though I'm feeling scared about getting rid of the old stuff (teeth breaking and coming out), it has to happen for me to grow and open to new possibilities (new teeth).
