Dreaming of my children getting hurt

A Disturbance in the Force
Here lately, all of my dreams, have been about my children getting hurt and I'm not sure why. I'm starting to worry a bit. The first one was a snake being lose in our house and three of my kids were bitten by it. The next dream was three of them got lost, couldn't find them anywhere. The third dream was that one of my daughters got ran over. I didn't really worry much about the other dreams but this one is just rubbing me the wrong way. We were just sitting outside and she ran to the road. Before I could get to her, an suv ran her over. Does anyone know why I keep having dreams about them being hurt?

Sounds like a variation on the "Dark Man Dreams" discussed by Clarissa Pinkola Estes in her book "Women Who Run With the Wolves." If you haven't read this book, I think you should.

Could it be also that you are simply concerned by the well-being of your children, which is natural, but you are not fully aware of the extent of your emotions so they surface in your dreams?

Hello Ahall8112 what Windmill knight said, seems to make sense.
When the mother of my son, forbade me to see my 8 month old son, I did a lot of nightmares about my son. For example: He fell from a building and broke her neck. He was drowning and I repêchais his lifeless body. It was eaten by the animals of the jungle and the forest, or I had to protect him by attacks of millions of rats. Eight months later, when my son was 16 months, the mother agreed that I could see my son. The nightmares have stopped. However, dreams symbolically seemed prescient.
