Dreams about house's

Lately I have been having dreams about house's. The weird part was in two of the dreams I could have swore they where not in this reality, either the sky and surrounding environment was different or nothing was the same as I would interpret this reality.
The first dream was really weird as it was filled with violence of all kinds yet I seemed indifferent to it and merely continued on my way through the house and garage while not really "interfering with the people in the dream. I won't go into detail cause it was kinda graphic like I have never seen before in a dream, funny thing the leader of the house who was performing most of the violent acts gave me a motorcycle and 400 bucks and said because I didn't steal anything or interfere with everything going on he would help me on my way. After that I took off and started driving down a deserted highway. This place I would describe as you could see a house what looked like 100-200 yards away but it would turn out to be like a mile or two. Distance in this dream was really weird yet I would simply start walking and I would get there quick.

The 2nd dream was about a huge weird shaped "empty" house. Though I could have swore there was life in this house I could not see it yet I knew it was there. One of the questions I asked was should I buy it and I was told no it was not meant for me? Seemed like I really wanted to buy it. This house though was like an optical illusion, it seemed decent size yet when I would go into it the walls would twist and turn into long passages with few doors. The outside part looked "normal" had grass and all that and even was on a street, but the street looked like a cul de sac with no entry or exit and no vehicles parked on the street. I couldn't see any physical life what so ever. Strange none the less.

While it is always up to the dreamer to determine the meaning of the dream, it might be interesting for you to consider that, quite often, houses in dreams represent our mind/self - with the higher floors being the personality and the lower floors being the subconscious. Just something to think about regarding the houses in your dreams.

Fwiw, I have been having a lot of dreams about different houses. Whether it's my house, a beach house, relative's house, or someone's house whom I don't know. I've been doing the dream journal since it was advised a few sessions ago. Some things I can tell are just processing of what I saw or thought during the day, but others are really weird and seem to have deep meaning.

I have the same feeling. The first dream ironically happened after I read a thread or some source about taking responsibility for ones actions. I have the feeling there is still deeper meaning that I need to figure out. The 2ND one I think pertained to what anart posted. least that's the feeling I had.

Hello Shadowsaround, :)

I get allot of house images in my dreams, I know who's house it is in my dream  but it is not the same as the house of the person in reality, mine or otherwise. Anarts comment....

I found very illuminating.

Once I had this dream where a little stream was running through my home, it was a very nicely decorated  :cool2: home, it was very ZEN like, with river rock for the floors, and little stones to walk on. Cedar pannelling, really nice home, my kind of place, and the little stream ran under a little bridge. (water under the bridge), and then ran out of a opening in this home... I dont know where too.

FWIW, this part in your dream....

Getting rewarded for not interferring with the evil  dude, and then goning down a road that is desolate? Sounds like something the STS would trap us into. I have gone down that road before. :scared:

Looking back it makes me think that I was simply searching for something and that I didn't find it. The 400 bucks part I still don't get though. As far as the deserted highway I think it could represent my path that I travel in life. I usually have a difficult time getting along with people my age group and I don't have many friends or people i can turn to when needed. For the most part I've always done everything I could by myself. Maybe I'm too independent to an extreme, (and recent self observation has proved this to me for the most part).

Don't get me wrong though I didn't like being there or around those that where in the dream. I still remember wanting to simply get away from that place. For the most part in the past 5 years I've driven alot on empty highways and backroads. Driving is one of the main things that seems to calm me down and make me happy. More so when I can be free to go where ever I want to without interference. I did get the feeling that in the dream I wasn't really supposed to interfere but maybe observe? Maybe it was a part of myself that i needed to see? I still am not sure. As far as not interfering with violence I cannot explain that either as if it happened in real life I would probably do something but until a situation like that comes up I can not say for sure. I'm usually the type that will step in and interfere with issue's like that when they crop up allthough it seems to me that that is an STS trait.

Thanks Harold and anart for pointing that out and making me look at it in a different way. ;)

I have no glossary of terms for the symbolism in my dreams... I do not think all symbols are universal in their definition, but I keep thinking about the importance of all connections. Maybe these sorts of discussions can give clarity to what our dreams mean to the higher levels and in relation to archetypal energies. Understanding symbols appears to be important for understanding reality, at least that's what I am getting from reading the wave material.

I find it interesting that, in your dream shadowsaround, I easily saw something, as I described. I am not attempting to influence your definition of the symbols, what I'm thinking about is, is there one universal truth to every symbol? At it's highest level of meaning? Do each of us build on each new understanding of the symbols. And is the opposing meaning of symbols universally the same?

I wonder if finding the commonalities in our individual symbols will lead to higher understanding of what these symbols mean. I think I will be more alert to how many stories the house is and who's house it is in any dreams I have about houses.

There appears to be the subject of a dream; what is seen, heard, felt, sensed, in our whole description of the dream. And then there is each object in the dream, having individual.... how can I describe this.... symbolic, subconscious meanings, that may or may not have a connection to the subject of the dream. So for example, the subject is 'house dreams', the common object is the house. Is this grouping significant, as a symbol unto itself. Taking this train of thought further. The number of stories, or who's house it is. So the new subject becomes the number of stories or who's house it is. If there is a commonality amongst the group of what the number of stories means. That becomes the subject of another level of understanding of what the object symbolizes. These meanings together, resonate at the group level, possibly creating a group vibe.

Is it significant shadowsaround that I resonate with your symbolic understanding of

I have this notion of finding common ground and building on it.

Is it significant that you could be describing me here

Huh? These connections appear real to me.

Seems to me that we continually search for something that makes us leave the main path on our own quest for something we do not have words for? I do not believe I am antisocial nor you as I can be sociable when needed or when I want to and I'm thinking your the same way. Yet that is why we are here on the forum to find that something, because our research has lead us here.

I think there is one universal truth to every symbol, but as it has been repeatedly said on this forum and in our history, many things of value have been hidden often in plain site sometimes not. I think we need to build on our understanding of symbols and there meaning's universally by networking. Sometimes we need to look at others to get a good view of our own self with some introspection, myself included. I know I have a hard time seeing what is right in front of my face.

Maybe for some, the real path is the road less traveled.

Some symbols shape-shift, it's natural, subject to manipulation by consciousness, and that may be a universal truth.

That's an interesting statement. It is also the first time I recall hearing about it. I am interested in that. Where did you read this? I would like to investigate this further.

I believe the C's have made symbolic statements, like '5d Capital on a Hill', to me Washington, Atomic Bomb and Zombies, come to mind. I would like to find out if the C's have given a specific meaning to a symbol.

I have always been looking for information on any links between Archetypes, building them, and their symbols. I am thinking this is a 4d or higher activity.

I have also been looking for information on using symbols and the occult meanings to these and words, in relation to the STS using the truth in such a way as to follow the rules of the universe, yet manipulate us. For me this helps to navigate through this reality.

For example, Shakespear, I imagine a spear shaking in times of war.

Yes, its like sometimes, I don't want to believe what I'm thinking and need approval somehow, this conversation, is assisting me to become a little more confident.

I think too that the STS way IS to hide things in plain sight. Like the Pentagon for example. Occult meanings in legal jargon, etc. And now that I give it some thought, it just seems to be the nature of things, STO included. I actually dont think STS has the market cornered on 'hiding things in plain sight', it is what it is. :cool2:

Symbols seem to be a big part of this reality and 4d and so on. Learning "Is' fun! :scared: :boat: :scooter: :rotfl: :rotfl:
