dreams of hands healing

Periodically I have dreams in which I use my hands to heal. IRL with the exception of a couple of theraputic touch courses I took more out of curiousity and with a lot of scepticism, I've never done anything else. But the dreams are so powerful and of course it's crossed my mind that maybe there's something there, however, I then think that maybe there's another meaning I'm missing and being attracted to the healer interpretation is me wanting to feel special. The latest dream a couple of nights ago was of my son's 12 year old friend. He was dying. I went to visit him and had the urge to place my hands on his heart and head and prayed or kind of summoned up something that was outside of me but came through me (I think my stomache area and through arms and hand but it's connected to something outside of me) and he started to get better and I knew he was going to live. No one saw what I did and when it was done I didn't say anything, just left the room and went to the door where I put on one boot (could only find one) and started to leave discreetly because I didn't want to be connected with the whole his getting better event nor explaining to anyone.
Ive experienced more like this, and one in particular with my spiritual advisor. Unbeknownst to me, he had fallen IRL and had a gash across his forehead. In my dream I found him injured on a stairwell and he told me where and how to place my hand on his forehead which I did and felt that same flow again. I must say it was a surprise to find out he really did have an injury in the same spot I dreamed of and I wondered if something happened in dream world.
