Well, I do not consider the forum as for sharing photographies, but I thought, maybe, I could do it, sometimes.
So, hereafter, one of the droplets pictures I've made in November 2010:

That's a really cool and beautiful photo, MK Scarlett!

Can I ask how you made it? Did you take a picture or is it a 3D rendering? If it is a photograph, how did you set it up to get the water droplets that way?

That's really beautiful, MK Scarlett! The colours and the light are amazing!
I too would like to know more about your process: since it's macrophotography, what camera did you use? Do you enhance the colours by computer afterward?

Thank you for sharing! :)

I made a tutorial at the time where I used to share my photographies on DeviantArt: http://arwenarts.deviantart.com/art/TUTORIAL-MACRO-DROPS-ARWENARTS-188625544

I use a Canon EOS 350D, a Canon Macro Lens EF 100mm f/2.8 USM and a Canon Speedlite 430EX Flash, AND a tripod, without this last one, it is not possible to get these kind of pictures. I also add others lights as a tube of blue light, for example. It depends on the result I want to have. As exercice, it is very exhausting, but so worthy!

And yes, colors are a bit enhanced on Photoshop but not so much.

For the little story, I wanted to create something I had never seen on the Web for this kind of macro photographies (droplets), something more poetry, I wanted to create effects like a painting, which can be done with a macro lens. So I tried, tried, and tried again until get the wanted result . Et voilà! ;)
