It's interesting that in the first few videos he talks about the hyper-dimensional nature of the aliens and how they feed off chaos and then in the following videos plays sounds and footage that he says will open a channel for the aliens to make contact!

If he's the real deal why did he include so much subliminal content like the spinning wheel, pictures of a baby with a convex mirror and eye on it's face, etc?

Yeah, a Swastika, a pentagram, a bleeding woman tied to a chair. It all sounds like a rather sick joke, or worse, the work of a very sick person.

I watched seven or eight of these things and found them increasingly distasteful. As you say, JP, why say that the aliens are malevolent, and then encourage people to open the channel for them to enter??!! The mind boggles at that! And what was the idea of overlaying the footage of the atomic blast (Hiroshima?) with a photo of a (presumably hallucinogenic) mushroom?

These videos look to me like an attempt to vector people away from truth – some of the things mentioned have quite some similarity to things discussed here – by beginning the series with the hook of the revelation of secret knowledge, and discussion of malevolent aliens who are little more than spirit attachments, and then going off into opening the gates to something really nasty.

These videos are pandering to the followers of Crowley and worse, IMHO: those who want to immanentize the eschaton through planet-wide chaos and destruction; destruction of both physical structures and peoples' psychological structures.

I didn't watch the videos, but based on what is found in the videos I agree with your closing line. The following could help answer your question or hopefully be useful in some way.

Quoted from wiki:
"Timewave zero" is a numerological formula that purports to calculate the ebb and flow of "novelty", defined as increase over time in the universe's interconnectedness, or organized complexity.[75] According to Terence McKenna, the universe has a teleological attractor at the end of time that increases interconnectedness, eventually reaching a singularity of infinite complexity in 2012, at which point anything and everything imaginable will occur simultaneously. He conceived this idea over several years in the early to mid-1970s while using psilocybin mushrooms and DMT.[75]

McKenna expressed "novelty" in a computer program which purportedly produces a waveform known as "timewave zero" or the "timewave". Based on McKenna's interpretation of the King Wen sequence of the I Ching,[46] the graph appears to show great periods of novelty corresponding with major shifts in humanity's biological and sociocultural evolution. He believed that the events of any given time are recursively related to the events of other times, and chose the atomic bombing of Hiroshima as the basis for calculating his end date of November 2012. When he later discovered this date's proximity to the end of the 13th b'ak'tun of the Maya calendar, he revised his hypothesis so that the two dates matched.[76]

While I'm slightly off topic, I'd also like to add that it's fitting that the symbol of atheism is the atomic symbol.
