Earthquake magnitude 8.4 off the coast of Libya thursday 19th?

Before Its News has an article about a coverup of an earthquake on the 19th of may:

They claim that the Centre Sismologique Euro-Méditerranéen had recorded an earthquake off the coast of Libya on Thursday, but that it was covered up. Does anyone have anything on this? Tremors in Tunisia/Egypt/Crete on the 19th?

Edit: A commenter from Crete commented on the Youtube video that he/she hadn't noticed tremors - no earthquake, then.

Hello Hithere,
I've seen the posts that night and the friends who live in the Mediterranean felt nothing. If there was a 8.4 magnitude earthquake, people would have felt something nearby. So, the possibility is that there was an error somewhere that has been corrected, or maybe the instruments detected something else that has been interpreted as an earthquake. There is a war there and anything could trigger false signals at some point.

Yes, it seems to have been either instrument malfunction or something of a more local nature; bombing and the like.
