Enlarging the text size that is viewable while constructing posts and replies

For quite some time I have had noticed myself squinting while attempting to read the text I have typed out to start a new topic or reply to topics on this website. I just compared the size of the text I am using to construct this thread to a Word document and believe that I am currently using size 10 text. I am near-sighted and use glasses, but still notice errors in my posts a lot easier once they are already posted in the larger text for all to see. Would it be possible for the size of the text we use to construct new topics and replies to be enlarged? Personally, I would appreciate being able to type this out with at least a size 12 font or larger. Thanks for the consideration here! :)

Depends upon your browser. But what works most of the time for me is:

Hold done the "Ctrl" & "shift" keys at the same time. Mine are on the bottom left hand side of my keyboard.
While holding them both down, then press the "+" plus sign. Each time you press the "+" key while holding down the "Ctrl" & "shift" may enlarge your words.

Hope this helps...

For me I just have to hold down the CTRL key and push the + key the required number of times. Just in the case holding Ctrl and Alt doesn't work for you, it doesn't for me.

Oh WOW, just holding down the 'Ctrl' key while pressing the '+' key has done the trick for me! Thank you so much for the information, Al Today and Perceval! I no longer request that effort be made to enlarge the text since I can do it on my own now. This is going to save me countless hours of eye strain while online! I'm surprised I wasn't aware of it before, but I'm glad to have learned about it today!! :O

And using the minus key "-" will make it smaller...
