I guess that the first question I'd ask, before whether or not it's dangerous, is if you think that is something worth putting your time and energy into above other things like working on yourself.

Hi loelie. What would you use it for if you weren't ready for it? Previous intellectual and emotional conditioning could now be subconscious and easily misinterpret what you might be 'seeing' before you are consciously aware of it, OSIT. :)

For me, the perception of the etheric world in a way is consistent with personal development. Know, understand and apply.
I develop myself, finally I have the intention and knowledge that my own research leads me cross today ether. This is not a need, may be a curiosity, but the intent remains the awakening for me and mine ... be is knowledge and knowledge is not to be?

Loelie, I think that it all comes down to intent. I understand curiosity, but that can be a tricky thing unless you have really cleaned your machine first and are aware of ALL your motivations for wanting to engage in something like this. Besides the fact that this kind of thing is almost always a diversion from more important work we have to do on the self, I think as you got deeper into it, it would require an amount of self-knowledge and wisdom that most of us (certainly including myself) don't possess.

I think there is some good background that Laura gives in her SRT and Channeling/Channeling and Exorcism podcasts here, as well as in her Knowledge and Being video, if you haven't seen/listened to them yet.

I think that one should ask oneself not just daily, but every possible moment, if the thought just thought or action done were STS or STO. The same goes with all your intentions. You should be very careful about the way you ask questions and the quality of your intents. That means if you want to develop yourself for yourself purposes it is STS, but if you have an intention to share your achievements with other people to their benefit, it is STO. Of course, respecting other people's free will is a must.
Sometimes one does not know where is the line between STS and STO questions and/or intents. The worst thing is that your request for help/development is unintentionally STS polarised and the STS gang could be invited by you, to you. That happened to me, more than once. My request was not clearly defined and obviously it had been interpreted as STS and attracted the same quality of social-memory complex. I suppose that I had no harm from that contact so far, because I haven't followed their advice, even though I think it might be true - it seemed I was one of them. And I suppose I was!
My advise to you: there is no time much left for us to learn and bring changes. Therefore, if you have a strong inner need to develop yourself and other bodies than the physical one, just do that. You should train your concentration to be firm to stay on the positive side, otherwise... This concentration means, giving light/love to other people. You should avoid negative thoughts. It works!
I'd say that thoughts and actions define our polarisation. We are what we think and do, not what we think we are.

Yes, I agree with you, maybe the questions on this forum are sometimes awkward (to others) yet, these questions are not STS in their background.
I request information for me because I may be confronting, but the goal is fully turned to others, help others, to better understand help.
An example: the ethereal vision of which I speak and the ability to see the terrestrial networks that can be very bad for humans.
I will not develop further unless you need information. If a person STO meditation practice in bad place, it can lower its energy very quickly and lose some of the benefits there one.
Have you heard network Hartmann, Curry, Peyre, chimneys cosmotelluriques, vortices (vortex)? some places were conducive to spiritual growth, others not, the ancient builders (Romans cathedrals, standing stones (menhirs) ...) knew.
Do not ignore everything on the single principle of personal development. We must practice with a matching of telluric and cosmic knowledge, now forgotten, mocked.

I understand now what was your standing point. Yes, I agree with you, it is a well known fact that ground is exposed to harmful and beneficial cosmic and telluric radiation that could make a huge impact on all living beings. One should protect living and working place from harmful exposure. I have almost all of my places protected by a certain plate positioned by a very experienced dowser. Personally, I have a little experience in dowsing. I need to exercise more.
Appart those networks of energy you mentioned, there are many other forms of energy knitted around the planet and we, all living beings are living in "a soup" of them. I suppose that one person can not explore all of them, therefore, a kind of specialisation is necessary. Someone started a topic on radionics but with no success, I'd say. So, if you are experienced in it, please share with others in this or in a new topic.
My previous post was about energies different from the ones you mentioned above.
Exploring of non-material reality will make you to face with energies you haven't been aware before.
