At the same time in the southern Alps in France there is very little snow and the temperature is feeling like April.
Paradoxical world...

And further north(southern Finland) we have above zero(Celsius) degrees and barely any snow...

Here in Macedonia ( south of Europe ) there is snow in the places where usually is very little. In some places there are lot of snow( some people have to be rescue with helicopter ) from the mountains. And unusual strong winds ( its never windy in winters here), and very low temperatures.

Just returned from my winterbreak skiweek in Karinthia/Austria. Unusaly low snow cover for this time of year in SE Alps incl. Slovenia and Dinaric Alps in Croatia. Wery dry wetter during last 12 months and above average temps. But the storms seems to be more stronger then usual.
