EX-CNN ANCHOR BROWN: "THE NEWS IN THIS COUNTRY IS A BUSINESS"

"Former CNN anchor Aaron Brown has suggested that television viewers are responsible for the deterioration of broadcast news as much as the TV networks themselves..."

Really?? The TV viewers now have the choice between different types of garbage on all channels. I highly doubt that any of the TV news networks would have any problems with ratings if they were to tell some of the true stories that are "off-limits" to them.

Wow, talk about psychopathic reasoning on Aaron Brown's part. I see the little girl in 'Bad Seed' from 1956 saying to her mother, "but, oh mother, it was his fault I killed him, I didn't want to, he wouldn't do what I told him to do, he wouldn't give me the penmanship medal, oh, mother, if he had only done what I told him to do!!"

Reminds me of Cheney blaming Whittington for being "in the line of fire"...Always blame the victim...

The immortal words of the psychopath: "You brought this on yourself".

The truth is that there is so little for people to choose from. I have all the nextworks because I have DirectTV. If I want to hear anything resembling balanced, I have to listen to LINK TV, which has more world news. Whenever I watch CNN world news, I have noticed they only use news from countries that are in direct relation with American interest, either economical or political. I also watch some of the hispanic networks, it never ceases to amaze me how much more they cover, even if I have to comb through filters over filters of propaganda.

Aaron Brown was lame anyway, and I rather see Anderson Cooper anytime. Even when he works for the same company. It seems to me he does a much better job questioning.

This also reminded me of the psychological tactic used by many companies when their customers claim that the product is broken or defective. Companies often first respond with something along the lines of "are you sure you are using the product correctly?" In the simplest example, with a broken television, "is the power cord plugged in?"

It is a widely used psychological tactic to shift blame and create doubt in the mind of the customers - shifting focus and responsibility away from the fact that the company has created a defective product.
