A few weeks ago I was thrilled to receive a response from Laura on a FB post I had made. I have never received a reply from Laura on any post I made on FB and really didn't expect one.
The post was a picture I had taken of an old painting I had done in my youth.
I had a few responses from various friends like I really like the sky :} , Tis an interesting slice of your mind And from Laura: Better you should ceremonially burn it and exorcise the demon.
So today I was able to find a place to stand the picture up outside, used my now-working zippo, lit it and filmed it. Using PowerDirector I was able to add the Omen music (just seemed an appropriate music to accompany) And put the video as a reply to the original post. My artist friend couldn't believe that I why would burn a painting based on a FB comment. But I think there are some things that are very difficult to explain to people who haven't spent the length of time many of us have learning on this little corner of the internet :)
