Exploding head syndrome?

The Force is Strong With This One
Hi everybody,
in the last month I had two episodes that can be referred to what is called the "Exploding head syndrome".

First: when I was starting to fall asleep deeply I heard an explosion very loud in my head.

Second: always while I was starting to fall asleep deeply I heard a very loud sound of a breath from the left side of my bed. The sound was outside but also inside of me.

In both episodes I woke up immediately.

Any suggestion about the origin of these phenomenon other than what "science" says (stress)?
Thanks a lot.

What are you eating? Some chemicals in foods produce what are called "Brain zaps".

Hi Laura thanks for your reply! From when I discovered your site and books I am spending all my spare time on it. Thanks for your work!

I drink wine and eat meat or fish on the grill, rice, sometime bread, sometime cheese, vegetables no pasta, no pizza, no junk food, no sugar, very rarely fruits.
That's it...

Well, that's not TOO bad. But rice, bread and cheese can be problematical. Might want to eliminate all gluten and dairy.

Having said that, if it was me, I would see my doctor and see about getting an MRI or some other type of scan. If you are having auditory/sensory things going on, there could be something growing in there.

I'm assuming that you read the wikipedia entry?

Exploding head syndrome is a form of hypnagogic auditory hallucination and is a rare and relatively undocumented parasomnia event in which the subject experiences a loud bang in their head similar to a bomb exploding, a gun going off, a clash of cymbals, ringing, or any other form of loud, indecipherable noise that seems to originate from inside the head.

This noise usually happens at the onset of sleep or within an hour or two of falling asleep, but is not necessarily the result of a dream.[1] Although the sound is perceived as extremely loud, it is usually not accompanied by pain. Attacks appear to change in number over time, with several attacks happening in a space of days or weeks, followed by months of remission. Sufferers often feel a sense of fear and anxiety before and after an attack, accompanied by elevated heart rate. Attacks may also be accompanied by perceived flashes of light (when perceived on their own, known as a "visual sleep start") or difficulty in breathing. The condition is also known as "auditory sleep starts". The associated symptoms are varied, but the benign nature of the condition is emphasized and neither extensive investigation nor treatment are indicated.[1] Sufferers may experience an inability to vocalize any sound, or mild forms of sleep paralysis during an attack. There is no known treatment.[2]

So, like I said, I'd get a scan. And based on the above, it may definitely be diet related. If you've been reading our diet material, you will know that gluten is implicated in schizophrenia so maybe this is just some sort of mild schizophrenia and once you get the gluten and dairy out of your system (can take months of absolute abstinence) you won't be bothered again.

I will go for it and eliminate gluten... I didn't read posts about diet cause I was avoiding 3rd Density thinking. Probably at this point I will read about it...
I was also taking L-tryptofan and after this I stopped (I take just melatonin). I think this could somehow be related too...

You can't think beyond 3D, so accept it. But you can prepare your body for 4d receivership and eliminate all the barriers that are put into place by our corrupt civilization with diet. It is part of the path to "ascension".
