Faith in the process: How lobsters grow

Thank you very much for sharing, also I like:

Oh! That lobster one was such a cute and amazing analogy! I never heard of Rabbi Dr. Abraham Twerski, but I'm interested now and seeing what else he lectures on.

Thanks T.C.

Thank you for sharing this T.C. :)
Carl and I were just talking about having faith. Sometimes I personally feel so depressed with the thought of going to work everyday, earning money within the system and forgetting all the reasons why. Wishing that someday in the future my reality will be different.

I watched a program before that had a moment in it were faith was restored, and "God" came back to help mankind. It emotionally touched me and I felt that "faith" again.

Great videos!! Thanks for sharing!

He does explain things in a very clear and logic way.

I'm glad to hear it helped you Lilyalic, I can relate to that feeling too.

What I realized is that we can shift the feeling of depression by seeing this daily activities as opportunities to learn. If you see this whole system and that mundane life as a HUGE petty tyrant you can even see it as a "fun" challenge. Just like the lobster which grow from discomfort, we have the challenge of learning something/growing from this discomfort each day. This focus can also help you to be more aware of your present moment, because the challenge to learn something each day implies that you are paying attention to each moment, accepting what is (no running away from that discomfort) and aiming towards growing in the middle of what is... Well, at least, that's how I see it.

Anyway, I know that it's hard to keep this frame of mind each day, and I also get depressed sometimes. Here's where faith in the process and networking is important, so that we are centered again and continue aiming. OSIT

Keep it up! :flowers:

Hi Yas, sorry I'm only just replying I'd forgotten :-[

FWIW, your words really helped me recently. Seeing every little struggle as a way to learn has really kept me going, somehow giving it all a more light hearted way of looking at things, not seeing it so seriously all the time. So, Thank you very much! I think it's something that we should all remember, :)
