I don't know if it is in the good section to put this.

On 7 March 2020, at about 20:33 local time, numerous casual eyewitnesses mainly located at the south and center of Spain saw a beautiful fireball crossing the sky. This bolide was generated by a rock from an asteroid that hit the atmosphere at about 54,000 km/h. The fireball began at an altitude of about 77 km over the province of Ciudad Real, and ended at a height of around 38 km.

This bright meteor was recorded in the framework of the SMART project, operated by the Southwestern Europe Meteor Network (SWEMN) from the meteor-observing stations located at Calar Alto (Almería), Sierra Nevada (Granada), La Hita (Toledo), La Sagra (Granada), and Sevilla. The event has been analyzed by the principal investigator of the SMART project: Dr. Jose M. Madiedo, from the Institute of Astrophysics of Andalusia (IAA-CSIC).
