Fireball sighting in Virginia, USA 11/4

I saw a fireball of some sort on the evening of November 4th while having a smoke outside. The location was in western Virginia (not West Virginia), near Charlottesville. I think the time was around 9:30PM and it lasted for 2-3 seconds. It seemed to be behind some thin clouds and may have been traveling roughly westward in a straight line. The color was mainly whitish and I think it was maybe 3 times as bright as venus (really hard for me to gauge). I don't have a recording of it or anything, so this is all from memory and probably has some inaccuracies.

I've had plenty of smokes outside in the evening while looking at the sky wondering when I'd see something streak across, so there it was.

Seems to be becoming a common occurrence to see or hear these things ourselves - or to hear reports from people we know personally. Really brings it home, eh?
