Just been shown this article by my manager and I am in shock.

The groundwork is being publically laid:-

The most potent threats to life on earth - global warming, health pandemics, poverty and armed conflict - could be ended by moves that would unlock $7 trillion - $7,000,000,000,000 (£3.9trn) - of previously untapped wealth, the United Nations claims today.

The price? An admission that the nation-state is an old-fashioned concept that has no role to play in a modern globalised world where financial markets have to be harnessed rather than simply condemned.

FIRST steps? you are joking right?

that's like saying that Hitler's first steps were the 'battle of britain' :-/

Anyway, yep, its shocking to start to see this stuff, but really once you start to join the dots you'll see that its been going on for some time already.

That's an interesting article. I guess dumping that much extra money into circulation would cause some serious hyperinflation. Something that has been predicted for sometime, all we need is the trigger-event.

I can see where your coming re:awareness of NWO, its certainly not the first I've heard of it :)

What shocked me was the brazen nature of the article, and printed in the Independent of all papers.

For most people, this will have been the first time they will have seen or heard about what we call the NWO(notice the article is devoid of the term), and the sad truth is most won't have seen the wood for the tree's.

yeah, every now and then (and getting more frequent!) along comes an article or news item that is SO brazen that it takes my breath away and I think: HOW can people not be noticing this stuff?

Somehow, though, normal everyday life seems to trundle on, everyone oblivious. gah!

I think there's probably some good that can come out of it though, which is that as the PTB get more cocky and self assured, and they don't really care what anyone thinks about what they are doing because they consider themselves invincible (eg: the famous quote "we create our own reality now"), then that will provide more clues and shocks, and possibly will allow a few (many?) more people to wake up to the strangeness that is going on. Who knows?

Creepy article, no wonder they're pushing the US to the brink of financial collapse. Funny thing is, that 7trill that would be "generated" still doesn't outweight our national debt of $8 trillion.

Gotta love this:

"Cutting poor countries' borrowing costs by securing the debts against the income from stable parts of their economies; net gain $2.90trn."

I just shake my head in disgust. Very similar to a 2nd mortgage sales scam, just secure your house and we promise to give you a better interest rate. Just what got the world into the current mess. Secure toxic debt to your future income.

They really think we are dumb.... wait a minute, we are! I use a bank, I shop at Walmart. Our choices are so limited. It really is about 'temptation' and resisting it. Very difficult.

I am a little optimistic after Copenhagen though.

Grams and Gramps was right to shove their cash in-between their mattress.

In Canada, you can't buy gold without red tape.

I'd like to add up all the gold that has been mined, and add up all the gold there is and see the irreconcilable differences. Where's it going? Off planet I bet.
