I really like his quote at the end of this article:

“I consider my microscope a telescope,” Dr. Genge said. “It can give you a pretty big picture.”

However I think this article miss one mayor point; that this dust collection on our roofs could also be attributed to comets.

Nice article. Maybe I got you wrong, but yes, he does mention comets and asteroids as possible source of extraterrestrial dust:

The dust consists of tiny remnants from the solar system’s birth, including debris from the lumps of dirty ice known as comets and from ages of smashups among planets and the big rocks known as asteroids.
