Hi guslar and welcome back back to the forum :).
No, it is definitely not a as you write an "(un)human experiment", rather increasing earth changes, though humans may have indirectly something to do with it, but is rather complex to explain. Unfortunately I could only recommend a new book publication, which goes into this direction: Earth Changes and the Human-Cosmic Connection. Nonetheless, maybe you could give it a try and starting reading the book? When you have a kindle for example there is also an english english dictionary available if this may help a bit.
