Flying orb seen in an incredible storm in Belgium

Exactly at 0:39 a UFO maybe? Don't know if anyone is insane enough to fly a plane there.

Agreed. The speed, the one light source it gives off and the arc of elevation all seem to indicate it's not a plane imo.

In the beginning I thought it is paper flying around what can be seen at 00:55. Also it has the tendency to look like a bird. But when watching it in slow mo and full screen it is flickering instead of flapping wings and appears first in the screen then reappears or something else again further on the left of the screen.

the first light can be seen already at 00:34 then it disappears and comes up again at 00:35

Looks like a bird to me. Birds do tend to 'flicker' if one side is darker than the other.

Notice the speed and the sudden change of direction, does it really look like a bird?
Also could it keep such a direction in a storm of such magnitude?

The second one looks like a bird. The first one looks to me like a bird that morphed into something "other." Aye ca rumba!

I watched it several times and saw nothing more than a magnificent and beautiful storm. It deserves a watch on that merit alone.

Might be a bird, difficult to say...but I'd cast my vote for a belgian flying waffle.
