Flying serpent(?) seen today

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to share that my husband saw a UFO today while at the playground with our son. He called me on my cell at work so I got to see it from another angle as did my co-worker and 2 clients (all within a 5 block radius in our town). It was kind of exciting to see it.... not sure if it is paranormal or military related, but it was quite like this video we found on youtube:

It moved back and forth for a while almost directly over my family, then headed south toward the Olympic Mountains, then southwest until it was out of sight.

Hi Tree, I watched the video you linked and it looks to me like a clump of balloons or balloons with plastic or something floating in the air. Did whatever you saw move that way, as if it was floating with the wind, or did it seem more controlled?

Was it that same shape? I'm not sure why the video is entitled flying serpent, since it doesn't resemble a serpent, but I'm trying to get a clearer idea of what you saw and how it behaved.

The video on youtube looks a lot like the paragliders we see around here a lot.

I would say too that is paraglider. Here are some videos in better quality for comparing:

Thanks for your replies. I thought about the paraglider too. I've seen paragliders before and I didn't think it was one (I could be wrong of course).... this "thing" had something hanging down that was solidly attached to the upper part and it appeared to have two "legs" or narrow appendages that occasionally would reflect a glint of sunlight as if it were metal (with no feet that I could see). The lower part seemed to stay pretty stable as the upper part was variable. The upper part looked like a black banana shaped balloon that was undulating and twisting around, but the movement of whole thing was a smooth straight path and seemed pretty controlled. I saw it change directions once, but I watched it for less than 5 minutes before it was too far to see clearly. It was quite high up...I don't know how high a paraglider can get from low ground. If it were a paraglider, as it was twisting or spinning I would have expected to see two objects since the cables connecting the glider and passenger wouldn't be visible from that distance. Is that true?

We watch the skies a lot here. We see a lot of weird things in the sky... usually crazy chemtrails, rainbow splotches in the clouds, or rings around the sun. When my husband saw this thing, he was sure he had never seen something like that here or anywhere else. He didn't think it was natural. He has better eyes than I do and watched it for at least 10 minutes and was right underneath it for a while. I would be interested in seeing more footage of ordinary possible explanations. It was a curious thing to see, and I'm not sure if it was something extraordinary or not. We'll keep our eye open for more interesting things.

Most likely explanation.... someone out here makes interesting gadgets to go with your average paraglider. Should I call it a case closed???
