While reading the recent posts I noticed several new topics which might have been better placed in a longer standing thread still ongoing.

That ongoing thread is this one: Japan - 8.9 Earthquake - Fukushima Meltdown.

The recent new topics are:

Fukushima-Fuel Rod Removal starts November..Danger!

A Blow against Whistle-blowers in Japan

Japanese seaweed highly contaminated-Avoid

This last one drew a comment from mkrnhr :

Hi jupiterbeings,
You don't have to create a new thread for everything. There are many subjects that are already discussed, you can post there if you have something to contribute. For instance, there is already a thread on Fukushima.

I would like to propose that one of the mods may merge all these newly created topics into the original Fukushima thread, just for archiving purposes alone. FWIW.

Some threads are specialized but they can be gathered very few threads. It is always useful to search for existing threads before creating a new one.
