Interesting profile of a fellow from NJ who's going against the usual flow. The knee-jerk impulse when I initially read that he'd 'heard voices' was to think: 'schizophrenic'. On the other hand, he appears to be appropriately 'functional', so to speak, and comes across as more rational than the average unaware person.

So perhaps he's an example of a modern 'shamanic' type - ie, he can deal with being aware of some of the larger aspects of reality.
