I do not know if I am in the right place to post this. But as some of Frank Joseph's books are cited (The Atlantis Encyclopedia) or recommended (The Lost Pyramids of Rock Lake) here on SOTT I would like to show you some pieces of information about this person.
I stumbled upon his background about a year ago while researching some material about diffusionism (especially pre-Columbian contact with America).

"His publishers know the true identity of Frank Joseph; his readers do not."

Frank Collin: From neo-Nazi to Hyper-Diffusionist and Witch By R. D. Flavin

Very interesting and thanks for this info. It's not about a book, but about a person who is possibly not what they present themselves to be so I'll move the thread.

From a listing:

...A listing from 8-31-03 has Collin hawking another book, Synchronicity & You: Understanding the Role of Meaningful Coincidence in Your Life, by Frank Joseph (New York: Vega /Sterling, 2003). A cover-blurb, written by Shirley MacLaine, reads: “Frank Joseph’s book on synchronicity demonstrates, with research and understanding, how truly harmonious and balanced every act and event in our lives is - not just coincidence. It proves how we are all parts of a fabric of which we should be made more aware.”
Oh my, and this creep gets a positive blurb from Shirley MacLaine...a woman who attaches herself to a slew of Cosmic Cointelpro types, and merits a well-researched chapter from Dave McGowen. Looks like this Joseph a.k.a Collins gets around, and currently has a following of sorts, despite his lies and criminal convictions. (Sounds a lot like the profile of a few of this site's detractors.) Wonder who is behind him?

One of the articles Transdimensional linked to talks about Joseph/Collins claiming that he has Native American genes. Given his dishonest track record in remaking his genetic image, I doubt that's true. Unfortunately, lots of that hooey is going around in New Age circles. FWIW, I have Ojibwa Indian in my background on my father's side...along with Scots/Irish...and German, and French from my mother. I do not think having Native American blood running through my veins gives me an upper hand in terms of spirituality...or psi...or whatever. It annoys me to no end, how New Age gurus co-opt, corrupt, or just make-up a bunch of nonsense, about Native American culture and religion.

Sadly, even some Native Americans have become enamored of their own alleged spiritual superiority due to outside influences. I am related to an Ojibwa Matriarch (wise woman/shaman) who is dismayed by the practices and beliefs that some of the younger tribal members attempt to teach others (for a tidy profit, of course.) These rituals and customs appear to have come from Hollywood or a cheesy New Age manual. She and I also suspect that some well-meaning, but misguided elders might have filled-in-the-blanks here and there due to changing circumstances.

Sure, there's a lot of misconceptions and hidden histories regarding how Native Americans came to the North American continent. Genocide, and the deliberate wresting away of the language and customs of many surviving Native Americans, has left only a portion of spiritual and cultural knowledge preserved. Evidence points to other advanced civilizations (depending how one terms "advanced") in North America prior to the Woodland Indian hunter/gatherer tribes of the past 2,000 years. The ancient copper mines in and around Keweenaw Bay come to mind. As does Rock Lake, WI. I've heard Native Americans say they would prefer to not know the true origin of the peoples who founded them since they feel that might negate their tribe's spiritual ancestral claim to the land.

My apologies for going off-topic, here. Joseph/Collin's claim of being part Native American annoyed me and I got up on a soapbox. :(
