I've read the article about it yesterday in a french newspaper.
His ex-girlfriend said he was pretty disturbed sexually and spoke often of anthropophagy and murder, she was suprised he did it to "a man instead of a woman".
Doctors said he had a distinct lack of empathy and they said he had psychosis if I recall correctly.
His cell roommate who saw the murder killed himself two months afterwards.
