Freudian slip when I talked to a Bank employee

So I've been negotiating settlements on some credit cards for a friend.
This morning I finalized the negotiation on two accounts with Bank of America and when I got transferred to the settlement person she said the following after introducing herself:
"We're glad to be able to milk...euh...help <name of my friend>...with this account"

This was after I was on hold with the person I originally talked to during which time these two women must have had some off-line conversation about this account, my friend and myself coz I was on hold for a while.

I thought this was a most interesting slip of the tongue.

LOL
And maybe she did it on purpose in order to signify the transaction was a trap?

I don't know.
But the fact remains that they get more with this settlement than with charging off the debt and selling it off to a collection company.
Settling now is what my friend wanted, so that's what I did.

D.

Thanks for sharing Domi, I guess it's just a reflection of the general ponerization in society, I can imagine how the two women could have joked in this way about getting a good deal.

Not surprising, as its always been about the "cash" and nothing more.
