hello everyone,

i was not gonna post this until something i realized recently, about a week ago i had a dream, it was very shocking and it had a lot of effect on me..i even posted it on Facebook, but decided to think about it before posting it here, however, 2 days later i had a different dream that was a different scene of the same one. then after giving it thought i realized that throughout all my life i have had the same dream theme, so here is the original dream:

i was visiting someone or vacationing in the mediterranean, and i was sightseeing and there were beautiful plants that would glow in the dark, just like the water would glow in the dark, it was amazing, i was with a couple of people from my job and family, and even a couple of forum members were there too.. amazing time.

then all of the sudden, weather changed, and huge waves off the ocean started to come at us, so we decided to go to the shore, a couple of my family members stood in the water on a little cabin that was right on the water, a friend of mine had a house by the shore and we all decided to go inside, and just observe what was happening, when we all looked at the sea, the waves kept coming and coming, bigger every time..at some point, the waves were destroying a huge group of oil wells that were on the water, as soon as that was done. the waves started to get closer to us. so we stepped back inside the house.

but i decided to go outside again and look at what was causing the tsunamis, i turned right and i saw an immense tornado right on the water, huge!! then it dissipated but several others replaced it.. and one of them was made out of fire, and i got the impression that this one was a tornado over a volcano.. and i had the sense that they were coming at us and that this was a pretty much all over the globe type of deal, the sky turned red.

we all stepped back inside and decided to stay away from the windows. i had a huge sense of trying to keep everyone safe, then someone of the group i was with asked.."do you think this is in any way beneficial to earth?" to which i responded with a voice that is not mine, very deep voice.."YES" very determined and emphatically.. then i woke up!

dream number 2:

i was standing in a room with some of my friends and it seemed to be a regular dream, there were people and friends and laughter and nothing really seemed out of place..somehow i realized something was fake from what i was seeing, and decided to turn away from this, i appeared in another room, and i somehow realized that it was the same day from the previous dream.. there was a screen. and we were looking at it, a map of the world was in front of us and someone was describing how it would happen, and there was a line describing the trajectory of a storm or tsunami and i was being given sort of details and descriptions of some sort, then i woke up.

now, i realized after the second dream, that all of my life i have had this recurring dream theme, i am in some island and on a tiny structure or right by the shore and huge! waves are coming towards me and family or friends.. and we can't do anything about it, in several of them, the waves come right trough in a couple of them i actually don't make it, but the common theme seems to be that one, waves huge water waves coming towards me and i am or feel helpless..i don't know how to swim, or i won't leave my family alone, or the strength and size are so immense there's no point in running, in one of them i even saw NYC entirely covered all the way to the top in water. like if it was frozen inside jello.

i know that dreams are sometimes messages for the dreamer, and that in instances are also deceiving, but i wanted to share this with you guys, to see if anyone has had any experiences similar to mine, or just any input at all..

thanks for reading.

Alejo,

I went through a very long period of dreaming about waves in a similar manner. I read that water and waves in dreams indicate emotions and the sea of the unconscious. I also had a lot of tornadoes also. It sounds to me it may could be that it is indicative of a lot of turbulent and repressed emotional content. I have found that through the years that explanation has rang true for me. I haven't had any of those types of dreams in a while now, and they were pretty regular. I also had recurring dreams of concentration camps. I have to say I do not miss either.

But as with any dream content, put yourself in the dream as both the dreamer, and all the different contents, figures, and objects of the dream as part of yourself, and see what conclusions that you draw.

hi emerald hope,

huh... now that you mention that, i have been doing a ton of internal search into the causes for a lot of my behavior, and have been realizing that there are an immense amount of emotions generated by those causes that have not been looked at.

thanks a lot! this gives me a bit of perspective into it...

This is to answer the question of others having had similar dreams.
Yes, I have had a dream of destruction by water (it was after the fact), and have met other people who have had dreams of destruction/impending destruction by water. A common thread that raised my eyebrows was "We tried to warn them, but they wouldn't listen". One person with the context that she knew that she was intended to survive but was horrified at the thought.

The 2nd part of your dream, where you have a feeling of helplessness, cannot escape and know it.
My own experience is of a dream where I am running away from danger, but my legs just won't operate correctly, and I cannot manage to get any speed up. That one is recurring. The water destruction aftermath was a single.

My perspective on significant dreams is that they are a precious gift, and they both prepare us and guide us later on.
Thank you for sharing your dream.
