Funny glitch after editing posts

The Living Force
Hi,

Lately it happened a few times in a row that active links to forumthreads which I posted in a message went inactive (but stayed intact) after I had to edit the message to apply corrections or to amend the content in other ways. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, so I would appreciate any help or explanation on offer. It wouldn't be the new server, I presume...

Active links are disabled if they link to websites of dubious nature.

Yes Heimdallr, I'm aware of that custom.

My problem is with forum internal links to other threads than actually posted in. Those cannot be of a dubious nature by default I would think. The problem only occurs when I have to use the 'Modify'-button in order to include minor edits to an already existing message with activated links of forum internal nature in them. After I click 'Save' to effectuate the edit the result is (sometimes, not always) an edit and also a deactivated link.

To give an example, have a look here: http://cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php?topic=13311.msg244874#msg244874. In that post, the upper link remained active after the edit, but the lower one changed to inactive after the edit. BTW - I use Opera as webbrowser (version 11.01, the most recent one).

I have tested it in editing your post and in adding one space before the second link and with a preview i saw that the link remainded active. Try editing your post in doing that.

Thank you Gandalf, I will for sure. And I have. I moved the link backward one space and then forward one space and saved that modification and now it is active again. Strange though, I just don't understand the why. Maybe not given to mere mortals in computer science like me. Anyway, it works and that's the main thing. Thanks again.
