Gatwick airport to Derbyshire

Hi,

My daughter is going to work for the summertime in England (it is going to be his first trip).

The airplane is going to land at the Gatwick airport.

And she is going to work at : Station Road , Rowsley, Matlock, Derbyshire, England, DE4 2EB

Is there someone who knows precisely what is the best way to go from the airport to Matlock?

One possible route and mode of transport would be using the rail network.
Train to Derby approx 3 hours, you can get the train from Gatwick Aiprort, but would be worth checking with National Rail Enquires to see if its direct or there is a change of trains , remembering to allow enough time to depart the Airport and get to the Rail Station. The Station is close to the Airport, via a free Shuttle bus.

Once at Derby, take a train to Matlock approx 30 minutes, then just a short Taxi ride to Rowsley.

National Express run a reliable and economical coach service and cover most English large towns - your daughter could get from Gatwick to Matlock, with a 40 min stopover at London Victoria in around 7 hours for £26.00

Its the form of transport that takes the longest (unless you are flying to Heathrow terminal 5 :)), but its usually the cheapest way to travel around England
