Gen Z or Gen “C” (from confused)

Sadhguru in conversation with a young “Millenial” about War, Metaverse, GenZ ...
Loved the most:
14:15 ... “Do not missunderstand your imagination as reality. If you confuse psychological reality as existential reality, you will suffer immensly in your life. This is what is happening to people. What is that they are suffering? You see somebody putting pins into your body? No. You’re just suffering your own mind. The greatest thing that’s happened on this Planet in terms of technology and possibility is the human mind. But you suffer it all the time. Doesn’t matter whether you were born yesterday or a hundred years ago, if you are suffering your own mind, then, you are Gen C.“

I remember that my first job was getting up at 5 am (as a newspaper boy) and delivering the Sunday morning paper to subscribers on a bicycle.

That was only before going to the distribution shack, where the distributor took count of the day drop-offs, which held me accountable by making sure there were no complaints about non-delivery while wearing a double-sided shoulder bag made of cotton.

The pay was very small and pretty close to child exploitation by today's standards of child labor laws.

But it didn't matter because I was making a bank and understood the value (down the road) of hard work as the way to live. And only losers take shortcuts, and as Laura said, there are no free lunches in life.

Only through hard work and discipline are champions born to thrive, even in the most challenging times that may lie ahead.

Via the Baby Bomer and like-minded people as well.
