Here, take a look at this article. I wonder how much of it is true, and how many such events were "dramatised" in order to put Israel in worst light. I am not trying to convey that Israel is innocent, not at all (people were killed, and we must find those who responsible for this), just exploring the possibility that this event was indeed "staged". Staged and manipulated by powers that be, in order to create more turmoil and hate between two nations. To prapare the grounds for the "final solution".
On another thought, I think that this is quite natural for human beings today (due to predator inside) to try and use the situation in their favor. For example to do dramatic photos, ware bloody cloths or carry their dead uncovered for all to see. I even can imagine that they trully believe that this is justified, because they believe that only by using such tactics - the world will be shocked and will feel the urge to react. Maybe and possibly it's nessesary, but this is still manipulation. And we all use this "shock therapy" from time to time. Exaggerate facts because without it it will not create the same strong reaction. Something we should be aware of.
Here the parts of the article that made me suspicious:

Another question raised by the newspaper is a shot of a man carrying a rifle next to the dead body of Hadil's father. The newspaper said in earlier footage, the same man was seen lying on the beach among the injured.
The newspaper said Irbad evaded most of the questions addressed to him.
Asked why he didn't try to calm Hadil instead of filming her he said: "She asked me to film her. She wanted to be seen next to her father to show the world the crimes that Israel is committing."
The newspaper finally asks: "Did the shocked 10-year-old girl, who had lost her father minutes earlier, give the cameraman direction instructions?"
