Getting rid of laws through knowledge and application!

Hello all!

Lately I've been reading again, slowly but surely, the Wave books. I'd like to share an excerpt and then discuss some aspects and applications that came to me while reading it. I'm quoting from the second volume, chapter thirteen:

"How this is done, the Cassiopaeans suggest, is through becoming aware of the meaning of the Symbols of Reality. We first become aware of these symbols as manifested in ourselves –physically, psychically, emotionally and mentally – and then expand this outward to understand our environment. It seems that our environment and experiences, individually and
collectively, reflects our selection of influences. Thus, we must first begin to examine ourselves, our thoughts and actions and from whence they actually originate, that is to say, which influence is dominant, and then we can begin to make choices about whether or not we will continue to interact with – or enact – this influence. Our environment and experiences then will begin to demonstrate the results of these choices, thereby giving us a feedback system that confirms or denies the rightness of our choice. And our choices, made in relation to our reality, can be either dependent upon outward perception, or inward perception. Ouspensky says:

"If we begin to know ourselves, we get rid of a law...So in order to free oneself from laws it is first necessary to find one law from which one can liberate oneself, and get free from it. Then, when one has freed oneself from this law, one can find another. Again one liberates oneself, and so on. This is the practical way to study laws. There are laws which hinder us on all sides or keep us in subjection..."(Quote from The Fourth Way pp. 205-210)

I've been thinking in terms of what could be some these laws that "hinder us on all sides", in order to get rid of them one by one, one day at a time. While it may be clear that Ouspensky was referring specifically to internal laws (that could be recognized and neutralized through self-knowledge and self-observation) such as identification, internal considering and all those nasty traits of the Predator's Mind in general, reading what Laura wrote then and considering how many life (and soul) saving threads here in the forum we have, all this made me think of a little list of laws and programs that we ought to learn how to neutralize so we can pass this grade and make it to next one, having learned all the "karmic and simple understandings".

1) Law of the poor body health (leading to death): Practice of a truly healthy diet and the various protocols researched here, such as the iodine and heavy metals protocols.
2) Law of the poor emotional and mental health: Knowledge and application of the EE program, along with meditation and self-observation, along with networking.
3) Law of subjectivity: Knowledge of the illusion of linear focus, time and monotheism (and the need for psysical aggrandizement as told by session 11 March 1995) by studying our "secret" history and reading and sharing SOTT and other alternative news sources.

The examples above are just some brief associations regarding those laws and programs that, due to my exposure to the Wave books and this forum, I started to become aware of and that I try daily to counteract by applying the knowledge gathered along the way. Thank you all for making it possible to make a difference in this world.

Replacing the word "law" by "habit" helps me understand this better. The inspiration for the replacement comes from scientist Richard Sheldrake.
